Kia Orana and welcome to Cook Island language week.
Mrs Mareroa and the house leaders have organised a Cook Island Food Competition.
We have GO4it on Tuesday, if girls would like to bring their PE shorts they are more than welcome to change.
This week we have Mary MacKillop day on Friday. We will be heading to the church for Mass at 8:45 so please make sure the children are at school with plenty of time. Parents are very welcome to join us. After morning tea we have some fun rotations to recognize this special day then in the afternoon we have some sports activities. There will be no Library this week as we are celebrating the Feast Day of Mary MacKillop.
Thank you to all the families who came to the three-way conference’s last week. The children’s goals will be uploaded to Educa.
Thank you to everyone who supported the two fundraisers last week for Nicksham’s family. They were both a great success. This week the milo will run again, so if the children would like milo on Tuesday please bring a cup and there $1
Here is a picture of the coin koru made on Thursday from the donations.
Each week we spend time learning Te Reo in our class, over the past few weeks we have been learning to name body parts and to identify different body parts when asked. To support the children's learning we sing waiata. Check out this week's song, the children loved singing with their peers and making the echo.
Just a short note this week.
We hope you all have a lovely week
